A. Golf Club Membership
1. Golf club applicants must meet the requirements stated in the Bylaws. (April, 2005)
2. Brassies Golf Clubs must host a Brassies WGA event at least once every three years if asked to do so. (April, 2005)
3. The Brassies WGA Board has full discretion to accept or reject a Golf Club application based on course location, rating, slope, condition and amenities.
Yardage at events is to be played at 5000 yds or more. (April, 2005)
4. Golf Clubs are limited to a maximum of 20 members. Brassies in clubs with more than twenty members on January 1, 2006 will be grandfathered-in until normal attrition reduces the club's overall membership to twenty. (December, 2005)
5. A Brassie Member Club must have at
least one club member who is a member of the Brassies. If the
last Brassies member of a particular club leaves the Brassies
organization, the club automatically is no longer a Member Club of
Brassies as well. If this occurs during a year when the Club
has an event scheduled, that event is automatically canceled.

B. Individual Membership
1. Individual applicants must comply with the requirements stated in the Bylaws. (April, 2005)
2. Applicants for membership must meet the maximum handicap index prescribed in the Bylaws for three successive months prior to application. (April, 2005)
3. Members who become
Brassies after January 1, 2005 are asked to keep their handicap
indexes at 18.4 or less. Should their handicap index exceed 18.4,
they will be allowed to play in events at a maximum index of 18.4.
They will have a 12 month grace period in which to lower their index
to an 18.4 or less: if they fail to do so, they may be asked to
excuse themselves from play if the field is full and will be allowed
to play on a space available basis. (December 2005; February

C. Club Delegate Responsibilities
1. She will be her Club's liaison with the Brassies WGA and will communicate to the Brassies in her Club relevant Brassies information and special announcements. She will pay particular attention to informing the Brassies in her Club of any upcoming votes regarding Brassies Bylaws or Standing Rules. (April, 2005)
2. She will maintain a current list of the Brassies in her Club, their contact information and current handicap indexes. (April, 2005)
3. Before June 1st, she will collect and forward annual dues from her Club members to the Brassies Treasurer. (April, 2005)
4. Before June 1st, she will send to the Vice President/Membership a list of Brassies in her club, their current handicap indexes and any listing changes in the yearbook. (December, 2005)
The delegate shall also collect and forward annual dues from her
club members along with a copy of the listing of her members to the
Brassies Treasurer. (August 2010)
5. For Brassies Events -
a. When play is requested at her Club, she will assist the Brassies Board to coordinate arrangements with the Club management, the Dining Room and Pro Shop. If needed, she will arrange for a committee to assist her with tournament duties requested by the Vice President/Tournaments. She will refer to the "Club Delegate Guidelines for Hosting a Tournament" and will inform the Vice President/Tournaments or the Vice President/Delegates should any problem arise. (April, 2005)
b. If the field is full, she should notify the Vice President/ Tournaments and maintain a waiting list. The order of acceptance is (1st) the Vice President/Tournaments and the Home Club Delegate, (2nd)
prior attendance, and (3rd) handicap indexes of 18.4 or less. Those who remain on the waiting list shall be recorded as having "attended" the tournament for the purpose of tracking attendance for future tournaments. (April, 2005)
D. Voting
The Board of Directors may conduct voting by mail or by email if fairness, impartiality and confidentiality can be appropriately assured. (April, 2005)
Board Approved
1. Cancellation Refund Deadline - Except for extraordinary circumstances, refunds will not be given for cancellations received after 72 hours before a tournament. (December, 2004)
2. Distance Measuring Devices - At Brassies tournaments it is permissible to use a distance measuring device to obtain distance information. However, the use, during a stipulated round, of a device that measures or gauges other conditions that might affect play (e.g., gradients such as wind or slope) is a breach of Rule 14-3 for which the penalty is disqualification. Measured yardage information can be shared with other players without penalty. (January, 2006)
3. Cell Phones - The
use of cell phones during tournament play is forbidden except in the
